ROUTE DESCRIPTION
NOTICE!
Do not use car navigation in the old city centre of Maastricht. Traffic flow is obstructed in various locations and the Wilhelmina Bridge is closed for normal traffic. Make use of our directions to get to the hotel easily. Follow the red dotted line in the route map.
From Heerlen-Aken (A79) / Eindhoven (A2/E25)
At the end of the motorway, with the Geusselt Football Stadium at your left, turn right at the traffic lights and follow the road 'Viaductweg' direction Noorder bridge. At 3/4 of the bridge take a right turn direction 'Parking Markt/Sphinx/OLV-plein'. At the traffic lights turn right again and drive straight on following the road signs 'Parking Markt/Sphinx/OLV-plein'. At the second traffic lights take a left turn (the marina BASSIN is at your right hand side) and follow this road that leads to the ‘van Hasseltkade’, ‘Kleine Gracht’ and finally the 'MARKT' Square. Please note, you may enter 'Kleine Gracht' although 'No Access' is signposted. At the 'MARKT' Square enter the Boschstraat where you see the statue of 'Minckeleers with his eternal flame'. You will find hotel ‘de Pauwenhof' after approx. 250 meters at your left at nr. 70.
From Luik (A2/E25)Follow direction Ring Zuid/Centrum 11-21/N278. Cross the river Maas via the Kennedy Bridge. At 3/4 of this bridge take direction 'Parking Markt/Sphinx/OLV-plein'. At the traffic lights take a sharp turn to the right to enter the Maasboulevard. Follow this road until the end of a tunnel section where you take - at the traffic light - a sharp left U-turn to enter the 'van Hasseltkade'. At the end of this road take a right turn to ‘Kleine Gracht’ and finally the 'MARKT' Square. Please note, you may enter 'Kleine Gracht' although 'No Access' is signposted. At the 'MARKT' Square enter the Boschstraat where you see the statue of 'Minckeleers with his eternal flame'. You will find hotel ‘de Pauwenhof' after approx. 250 meters at your left at nr. 70.
Parking
The hotel has very limited private parking space. Please enquire when making your reservation. If not available you may use parking facilities at walking distance from the hotel. See www.q-park.nl (city Maastricht - Mosae Forum, Bassin, Sphinx) for parking information.
Public transport
From the NS-railway station you can take a bus to the ‘Markt’ Square, bus stop Mosae Forum. Then walk to hotel 'de Pauwenhof' in just a few minutes. You can also take a taxi.
